MIDSAYAP, SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA โ On 26 January 2023, 63 new para-social workers here were sworn in and appointed as part of the Lingkod Pamayanan para sa Kapayapaan Program. The ceremony was attended by MSSD-BARMM Minister Atty. Raissa H. Jajurie, who expressed her appreciation for the new workers’ support of the Bangsamoro Government.
During the event, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management focal Hy-Ri Nur R. Pamikirin provided an orientation on the responsibilities of para-social workers. Disaster Response Management Division Chief Hasim Guiamil also welcomed the new workers and discussed the primary role of para-social workers in disaster response and management.
In addition, Mr. Haron D. Amer, SGA Coordinator, thanked the heads of the MSSD for their support and the 63 new para-social workers for joining the MSSD team in the Special Geographic Area.
