BARMM SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA โ A total of 200 indigent patients in Barangay Kadigasan, Midsayap Cluster II, BARMM SGA, received services during the medical mission organized by the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) and COHESCO Hospital on November 15, 2023.
The MSSD, through its Bangsamoro Critical Assistance for Indigents in Response to Emergency Situations (B-CARES) Program, provided support by ensuring that the 200 patients received free medications during the medical mission.
COHESCO Hospital is one of the partner medical institutions of MSSD in BARMM SGA, implementing the B-CARES Program by providing free hospitalization to assessed and qualified vulnerable patients.
Present during the activity were the workforce of MSSD BARMM Midsayap Cluster, led by Municipal Social Welfare Officer Alpha Jyan F. Aras, the COHESCO medical team led by Dr. Edwin Cruzado, and officials and personnel from the Barangay Local Government Unit of Kadigasan.
Meanwhile, a similar medical mission is scheduled to conclude today, November 16, 2023, at Barangay Malingao in the cluster.
