𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) joins the whole world in the observance of this day as we advance the rights and welfare of the Persons with Disability (PWDs).

PWDs across the Bangsamoro region particularly those who belong to the indigent, vulnerable, and marginalized sectors are some of the priority clients of MSSD’s services under its Older Persons and Persons With Disability (OPPWD) Program.

MSSD’s OPPWD Program caters indigent PWDs through provision of assistive devices, financial assistance lodged through the “Kalinga Para sa May Kapansanan Program”, seed capital fund for livelihood assistance through the “Bangsamoro Sagip Kabuhayan Program”, hospital and medicine assistance through the “Bangsamoro Critical Assistance for Indigents in Response to Emergency Assistance (B-CARES) Program”, and other social interventions upon qualifying and meeting the prescribed program criteria.
