DAVAO CITY โ In preparation for the pilot implementation of digital payout system in BARMM, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) held a training for field workers, who will be deployed to register and collect data from the beneficiaries.
This is to improve the efficiency of data collection and validation processes of the Ministryโs financial assistance programs, which will be implemented through the Financial Assistance System Transformation (FAST) Project. The field validators were equipped with necessary skills, including accurate and efficient data validation using KoboTool, conducting household visits, reviewing documents, quality control, monitoring, and verifying beneficiaries’ information.
The FAST project aims to digitalize the payouts of financial assistance, pensions, and other benefits of the Ministry to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of the social services delivery system in the region. The Finance Management Support Service Division of MSSD is implementing the project with the support of the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) through the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
