RAJAH BUAYAN, MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR – The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) conducted a relief operation for the displaced families of Barangay Bakat from April 14 to 18, 2023. A total of 882 families, or 4,410 individuals, received welfare goods comprised of 25 kilogram-rice, viands, and instant coffee.
The families evacuated from their homes on March 28-29, 2023, due to a clash between two armed groups in their barangay.
The relief operation aims to provide basic necessities to the displaced families while they are still unable to return to their homes.
