The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) joins in observing the 45th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week with the theme “Person with Disabilities (PWDs) and Rights towards a Sustainable Future where No One is Left Behind.”

MSSD firmly believes that disabilities must not hinder the Bangsamoro people from accessing opportunities, relishing their rights, and receiving respect from society. Despite their diverse and unique needs, disabilities should never overshadow their inherent capabilities and humanity.

As a frontline agency dedicated to serving the needs of the region’s most marginalized and vulnerable sectors, including PWDs, MSSD is committed to continuously empowering and uplifting their lives through a range of protective services and social welfare programs.

On this week-long observance, MSSD is set to conduct a series of outreach activities and service delivery to its indigent PWD clients across the Bangsamoro region as part of its advocacy in promoting an inclusive and just society where no one is left behind.
