LOOK: The Ministry of Social Services and Development is allotting a sum of P2.89 billion in the proposed Bangsamoro Expenditure Program for 2023.
The welfare of children and youth, women, the elderly, and those with disabilities, as well as disaster preparedness and response, will all be supported by the proposed budget for the MSSD.
MSSD’s 2023 proposed budget was scrutinized by the Bangsamoro Parliament’s Committee on Finance and Budget Management Sub-Committee E, chaired by MP Atty. Anna Tarhata Basman.
The MSSD protects and addresses the needs of marginalized and vulnerable groups, indigenous cultural communities, and internally displaced persons. (LTAIS-Public Information, Publication, and Media Relations Division)
