Kalinga Para Sa May Kapansanan Program

The landmark Kalinga Para Sa May Kapansanan Program is the Ministry’s social pension program for persons with disabilities that provides PWDs with monthly financial subsidies to augment the capacity of indigent persons with severe disabilities to meet their daily subsistence and medical requirements.
MSSD provides a comprehensive response to provide social protection interventions for older persons and persons with disabilities (PWDs) which includes the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens, provision of assistive devices, skills training, organizing and strengthening local federations, and LGU strengthening and advocacy for the effective implementation of programs and services.
