The JP on RISRSP is one of seven ongoing programmes in the country that provides cost-effective solutions to various development challenges. In particular, this JP builds the capacity of BARMM’s different institutions to respond more swiftly and effectively to their people during natural and human-induced disasters, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
The JP on RISRSP is funded by the Joint SDG Fund and implemented by the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), the Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG), the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
