Happening Now: BARMM Response Cluster meeting to discuss the flooding brought about by tropical storm Agaton.

Based on the initial assessment, 48,845 families or 244,225 individuals from 145 barangays in 13 municipalities in Maguindanao have been affected by the severe flooding.

In the Special Geographic Area (SGA), 42 of the 63 barangays are flooded, which affected 27,286 families.

Forty-three (43) barangays in Taraka, Lanao del Sur are flooded.

The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) sits as chair of the Response Cluster.

Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reforrm (MAFAR), BARMM READI, Tabang Program of the Office of the Chief Minister, Office of Civil Defense (OCD-BARMM), DOST-PAG-ASA, UN OCHA, World Food Programme (WFP), Phillipine National Red Cross, Action Against Hunger (AAH) are present during the meeting.
