MARAWI CITY — The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), through its Lingkod Pamayanan para sa Kapayapaan Program, has disbursed the subsidies of its 499 parasocial workers deployed across Lanao del Sur-A and Marawi City.
Each parasocial worker received P9,000, covering the second quarter of 2023. A refresher orientation was also provided, focusing on their responsibilities, especially in the Ministry’s emergency assistance initiatives. The session concluded with the parasocial workers reaffirming their oath of office.
MSSD-LSA PSWO Bai Yasmira N. Pangadapun expressed her appreciation for the commitment of the parasocial workers in implementing the Ministry’s programs and services for the marginalized and vulnerable sectors in the province.
