MASIU, LANAO DEL SUR โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) organized the first centralized moving up ceremony for 213 learners from 21 child development centers (CDCs) here on July 13, 2023. These CDCs are closely monitored by the Ministry through its Children and Youth Welfare Program (CYWP).
The local government unit (LGU) of Masiu provided the completers with meals and tokens, while the barangay LGUs also extended cash assistance to them.
Several intermission numbers were also performed by the learners to showcase their talents and skills.
The moving up ceremony held at the Municipal Gymnasium brought together various stakeholders, including representatives from Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE), parasocial workers, and social work interns.
The event underscored the importance of early childhood education and the continuous efforts of the MSSD and its partners in empowering the youth and ensuring they receive quality education and support for a promising future.
