KUMALARANG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) provided essential goods to the flood-affected Bangsamoro residents in Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur.
A total of 598 beneficiaries received rice and food packs on June 2, 2023. The distribution took place at the covered court in Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur.
This initiative was conducted in coordination with the Provincial Government of Zamboanga Del Sur, Bangsamoro Provincial Consultative Council, 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB), and community volunteers.
Under Article VI, Section 9(d) of RA 11054 (Bangsamoro Organic Law), the Bangsamoro Government is mandated to provide necessary interventions to Bangsamoro communities outside the BARMM.
