SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA โ Following the consecutive heavy rainfall and resulting flooding incident, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) conducted visitations and validations of affected households in SGA today.
According to the initial report from MSSD-SGA, more than 16,000 households in barangays Pedtad, Nabundas, Macasendeg, Balungis, Bulol, Rajamuda, Kabasalan, Fort Pikit, Batulawan, Barungis, Buliok, Macabual, Gli-Gli, and Bagoinged have been affected by the floods.
In response to this situation, MSSD is coordinating the distribution of relief goods to these affected communities in the coming days. The visitations and validations conducted by MSSD aim to assess the needs of the affected households and ensure that relief efforts are targeted towards providing assistance to those most in need.
