LANAO DEL SUR โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) has started the house-to-house distribution of Hadiya care packages in this province. This was done after the turn-over of 310 Hadiya care packages to municipal social welfare officers here on March 08, 2023.
The indigent senior citizens in the Municipality of Ditsaan-Ramain, particularly in barangays Buayaan Raya, Baclayan Lilod, Sultan Pangadapan, Barimbingan, Gadongan, Bubong Dangiprampiai, Linamon, Maranao Timber, Upper Pugaan, and Pagalongan Masioon, received the Hadiya care packages on the same day. A distribution was also conducted in the Municipality of Piagapo.
The house-to-house distribution will continue until all identified bedbound and vulnerable senior citizens in the province receive a Hadiya.
The Ministry, through this new program, aims to further improve the lives and well-being of the senior citizens in the Bangsamoro region.
