COTABATO CITY โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) set up a booth in celebration of the government’s foundation day in front of the Bangsamoro Government Centerโs OCM Building on 24 January 2023.
The booth offered visitors with complimentary coffee and blind massage services, both of which were provided by recipients of the Ministry’s livelihood assistance grant.
Several products from beneficiaries of the Sustainable Livelihood Program were also displayed for promotion to the public, while audio-visual presentations showcasing the Ministry’s accomplishments were also played.
In addition to MSSD, other ministries and offices belonging to the Social Development Committee also installed their own booths, highlighting the programs and services they offer to indigent and vulnerable communities in the region.
This event not only provided a fun and interactive way for the public to learn about the Ministry’s work, but also served as an opportunity for local businesses and artisans to showcase and promote their products. It was a great way for the government to connect with the local community and demonstrate its commitment to improving the lives of the Bangsamoro.
