BONGAO, TAWI-TAWI โ MSSD, in collaboration with REACT Philippines Radio Club, Philippine Marine, and Philippine Red Cross (PRC), provided assistance to 257 returning Filipinos (ReFs) from Sabah, who arrived here on 22 November 2022.
Upon their arrival, the Ministry distributed meals and welfare goods to them. As part of health protocol, the partner agencies also helped in facilitating their travel from the port to the isolation center, which served as the venue for the documentation.
After the documentation process, some of them were fetched by their families from the isolation center, while the remaining ReFs who live on island municipalities were assisted by the Ministry and concerned MLGUs for their return.
