BONGAO, TAWI-TAWI โ A total of 388 households from different municipalities of this province officially exit the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) during the Pugay Tagumpay graduation ceremony conducted on 19 November 2022 at Bongao Gymnasium.
After a series of cultural performances, each household received Php 15, 000 under the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) along with the certificate of recognition. Their graduation implies that they have reached the self-sufficient level of well-being.
MSSD-BARMM Minister Raissa H. Jajurie, through a video message, said that their graduation from the program does not mean that the Ministry’s partnership with them is over. In fact, programs such as Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), Bangsamoro Sagip Kabuhayan (BSK), and Angat Bangsamoro Kabataan tungo sa Kinabukasan (ABaKa) are existing to further uplift their well-being. She also congratulated them because during the course of being 4Ps beneficiaries, they were able to improve their lives, especially their children’s health, nutrition, and education.
The ceremony was led by MSSD-BARMM Tawi-Tawi Provincial Social Welfare Officer Belinda C. Adil, OIC-Provincial Link Pramashaira Astarani Frayna, key officials from the DSWD national, MSSD-BARMM, 4Ps, and SLP offices.
Present during the ceremony were officials and representatives of different line agencies and partners in the province, which include the the provincial local government unit (PLGU), the Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Ministry of Health (MOH), Bongao LGU, and Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College.
