SULTAN MASTURA, MAGUINDANAO DEL NORTE — MSSD provided food and
non-food items for the 445 displaced families in barangays Simuay/Seashore and Dagurungan on 05 November 2022.
These beneficiaries are among the most affected residents in Maguindanao del Norte, whose houses were either partially or totally damaged during the onslaught of Typhoon Paeng.
The 410 households of Barangay Dagurungan received 25 kilo-rice and welfare goods. Meanwhile, the remaining 35 beneficiaries from Barangay Simuay/Seashore received non-food items which include family hygiene kit, dignity kit, water container, and trapal. They initially received food supplies following the flood incident.
MSSD-BARMM has conducted relief operations since 28 October 2022 to typhoon-affected areas in BARMM region. Yesterday, 12 truckloads of relief supplies were delivered to Datu Blah Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.
