DATU ODIN SINSUAT, MAGUINDANAO DEL NORTE — MSSD delivered and distributed relief goods to typhoon-affected residents in Barangay Tapian on 03 November 2022. This barangay is among the most affected areas in this municipality.
It took the team three (3) trips accomplish the shipment of 740 sacks of 25-kilogram rice, 740 food packs, and 420 water containers to the said barangay due to the limited capacity of the boat.
The delivery of the relief goods was done in coordination with local government unit (LGU), Philippine Navy, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Coast Guard, and volunteers.
Aside from the relief goods, the Ministry has also established a community kitchen here on 30 October to provide hot meals for the affected residents.
This is part of the Ministry’s effort to address the magnitude of the damage to life and properties caused by Typhoon Paeng in provinces of BARMM.
