PIKIT, SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA — The Ministry provided humanitarian aid to 526 internally displaced families of barangays Balong and Panicupan here on 11 October 2022. Each family received 25 kilogram-rice, food pack, and sleeping kit.
The distribution of the same welfare goods will be continued today and in the coming days until all the affected families in remaining barangays affected by the crisis are served.
An armed conflict caused the displacement of the affected households residing at barangays Ginatilan, Calawag, Panicupan, Macabual, and Balong in this cluster.
