JOLO, SULU – In the pursuit to ensure efficient implementation of the social protection programs of the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) across the Bangsamoro region, Minister Atty. Raissa Jajurie along with the key personnel of the ministryโs regional and provincial offices convened during the management committee meeting for the 3rd quarter on October 3 โ 5, 2022 at Abdusakur M. Tan Multipurpose Hall, Jolo, Sulu.
During the meeting, updates on the 2023 Budget Expenditure Program (BEP), Special Development Fund (SDF), human resources, logistics, procurement status of welfare goods, monitoring and evaluation reporting, Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) cash card distribution, and Early Childhood Care Development (ECCD) were discussed.
The attending officials also reviewed finance policies and tackled the piloting of digital payments.
All provincial branch offices of MSSD also presented status reports on the various programsโ operations at the grassroots level.
Agreements and action points derived from the said quarterly meeting are all accounted for in relation to the ministryโs social service delivery moving forward.
