MARANTAO, LANAO DEL SUR โ A total of 44 tornado-affected households of barangays Tuca Kiadlan, Kialdan Proper, and Lubo Lininding here received relief goods under MSSD’s Emergency Assistance Program on 01 October 2022.
During the distribution, each family received 25 kilogram-rice, food pack, hygiene kit, sleeping kit, and dignity kit.
This is coordination with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Philippine National Police (PNP), Municipal Social Welfare Office (MSWO), Local Government Unit (LGU) of Marantao, and concerned Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs), which provided logistics support, manpower, and other services to accommodate all the beneficiaries.
The LGU of Marantao will continue to coordinate with the concerned line agencies to provide additional assistance to the affected residents.
