COTABATO CITY โ In continuation of the payout conducted on 11 September, each of the additional 87 college students in the city received PhP 10,000-educational assistance earlier at MSSD Regional Office.
There will be succeeding payouts in the coming weeks for the qualified high school and elementary students. With this, the applicants are reminded to keep their mobile lines open as the designated social workers will call them ahead of the next payout.
The Ministry validated and evaluated all the documents submitted by each applicant to ensure that only the most qualified indigent and vulnerable beneficiaries get the one-time educational subsidy. The evaluation is done through a score sheet, which determines the ranking of the applicants. Also, a deduplication is done to determine if the applicants are not receiving assistance from other programs of MSSD.
