On October 20-21, 2021, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) distributed relief assistance for 597 Manobo and Tโduray households in Barangays Ilian and Legodon in Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat.
Each beneficiary received a 25 kg sack of rice from the Ministry as part of its COVID-19 relief assistance for Bangsamoro communities, including those located outside the Bangsamoro Region.
The relief distribution was conducted in partnership with the Dulangan Manobo Tribal Leaders Association, in coordination with the Esperanza Municipal LGU and the 7IB of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
