In response to the oil price hike, a total of 213 habal-habal and payong-payong drivers in Cotabato City received 25 kilos of rice each from the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) from 05 to 06 November 2021.
The recipients were residents of barangays Rosary Heights 7, Rosary Heights 10, Bagua I, and Kalanganan II.
The MSSD will continue reaching out other drivers from the remaining 33 barangays in the coming weeks to receive the same rice assistance.
