SIBUTU, TAWI-TAWI โ Three hundred twenty (320) indigent families received relief assistance from the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) during the house-to-house distribution of Tawi-Tawi Provincial Branch Office earlier, today, 10 November 2021.
Among the beneficiaries were Badjaos, persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and heads of indigent families who each received 10 kilos of rice and grocery items.
The recipients were residents of barangays Ligayan, Tongehat, Hadji Mokhtar Sulayman, Nunukan, Ambutong, Amilhamja, Hadji Bidin, Hadji Gaya, Sibutu Poblacion, and Talisay.
The Philippine Airforce (PAF), Philippine Navy, Municipal Police Station (MPS), and the local government unit also provided logistical support and manpower for the transport of goods.
