SAN JOSE, DINAGAT ISLAND PROVINCE – Following the send-off of the 16 truckloads of welfare goods bound for Dinagat Islands last December 22, 2021 in response to the residents of the province whose homes and livelihoods were shattered as Typhoon Odette struck, the relief assistance from the Bangsamoro Government arrived at the port of the Brgy. Wilson, Municipality of San Jose on Saturday, December 25.
The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) directly delivered ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐ผ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ, ๐ญ,๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ท๐๐ด๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฏ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ ๐ฒ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐๐ to the various municipalities of Dinagat Islands.

Aside from MSSD, the Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG)โs BARMM Rapid Emergency Assistance for Disaster Incidence (READI) also provided 2,000 family packs which consist of 10 kilos of rice, canned goods, and coffee, and the Office of the Chief Ministerโs Project Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan (TABANG) also provided 1,500 hygiene kits.
For the coordination and facilitation of transport and turn-over of goods, the 63rd Naval Force Reserve Western Mindanao (NFRWM) led by Bangsamoro Member of Parliament and Commander Atty. Suharto M. Ambolodto ensured that the assistance reached the province and its municipalities. The North Cotabato Provincial Government, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Field Offices XI and XII provided logistical assistance to transport the goods.
Dinagat Islands Governor Arlene โKakaโ J. Bag-ao was overwhelmed upon receiving the bulk of goods and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the BARMM Government.
