Today, we remember the 𝟭𝟵𝟳𝟰 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝗹𝗼, which left the town in rubble and death.

The battle erupted on February 7, 1974 when forces of former dictator Ferdinand Marcos responded with air and naval bombings, which left the town in ashes, 40,000 residents homeless, and more than 300 dead.

May we never forget our history.
