Luuk, SULU — A total of 350 pregnant women and lactating mothers received maternity kits in Luuk town on June 10, 2022.
Each maternity kit contains 2 sets of pajamas, 2 shirts, 2 short pants, 2 diapers, 2 mosquito nets, 2 blankets, 2 pieces of 3-in-1 coffee, 1 bottle of alcohol, 1 plastic mat, 1 baby soap, 1 bottle of baby oil, and 1 basket.
During the said event, the Rural Health Unit (RHU) personnel also conducted a lecture on maternal health, family planning, proper care of babies, and other health-related matters. This is to ensure that both the beneficiaries and their babies can have a healthy mother-child development.
