Omar, SULU — A total of 153 persons with disabilities (PWDs) here received their monthly stipend under the Kalinga para sa may Kapansanan program on June 20, 2022.
MSSD provides a P500-monthly stipend to the indigent PWDs as a social protection and intervention for them.
Aside from giving stipend, this program also includes the provision of assistive devices, skills training, capital for livelihood projects, and organizing and strengthening local PWD federations.
