Bacolod-Kalawi, LANAO DEL SUR โ MSSD conducted monitoring of Day Care Centers, now known as Child Development Centers (CDCs), including the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) outdoor play facilities in barangays Tuca I, Bubong, and Sugod on June 15 and 20, 2022.
The conduct of monitoring is to ensure that the facilities are functioning and ready for the incoming school year 2022-2023. The CDCs provide supplementary parental care to 3 to 4 year-old children of parents who find it difficult to fully take care of their children during part of the day because of work or other reasons.
Following protocols, students were given a chance to experience the outdoor facilities while being assisted by the MSSD social workers.
MSSD aims to continue providing conducive learning facilities to help children in BARMM get developmentally-appropriate education.
