Pagalungan, MAGUINDANAO — On June 23, 2022, an indigent PWD here received a commode wheelchair from MSSD.
The beneficiary is an elderly who needs an assistive device to improve his mobility and ability to perform activities of daily living, such as getting out of bed or eating.
As senior citizens get older, their physical capabilities and self-care abilities also gradually decline. They can use various types of assistive devices to help them with daily activities and to maintain their functional independence despite physical and cognitive decline.
