LANAO DEL SUR — Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) Lanao Sur B Provincial Office held its pay-out to 246 beneficiaries under Kalinga Para sa may Kapansanan Program from the 17 municipalities of the province last June 21-23, 2022.
Each eligible beneficiary is entitled to a P500-monthly stipend. The cash assistance is intended to augment in meeting the basic and medical needs of indigent PWDs.
This is one of the social protection programs of MSSD that recognizes the rights and privileges of the differently-abled persons. They need to be protected from neglect and all forms of abuse and the need to capacitate them for self-development and self-reliance.
