Parang, MAGUINDANAO — MSSD provided relief assistance to the 97 flood-affected families of Barangay Macasandag here on 07 July 2022. Each family received 25 kilogram-rice, sleeping kit, and a large plastic mat.
The distribution of relief goods was done by the MSWO, para-social workers, and day care workers.
On 08 July 2022, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) stated that there is a huge possibility that the low-pressure area (LPA) east of Mindanao will develop into a tropical cyclone within this week.
