Bacolod-Kalawi, LANAO DEL SUR — A total of nine (9) para-social workers in this municipality received their stipend on 11 July 2022 at the MSSD Unit Office.
Under the Lingkod Pamayanan para sa Kapayapaan Program, they receive a P3,000-monthly grant for their invaluable contribution to the Ministry’s activities in the field.
The para-social workers have informal credentials, but they are recognized as the critical link between the community and the Ministry. They mainly assist the social workers in distributing relief assistance to the indigent beneficiaries, especially in remote areas of the region.
