Ministry of Social Services and Development – Lanao del Sur A monitored simultaneously in 19 municipalities the Bio-Intensive Gardens (BIG) and/or Gulayan Sa Barangay of its Pantawid beneficiaries last July 18, 2022.
As part of the clusterโs strategies of ensuring that its beneficiaries are complying to the conditionalities and requisites of 4ps which includes having their backyard or communal gardens in promotion of consuming nutritious foods and potential source of income, its Municipal links and Social welfare assistants visited identified Gulayan sa Barangay in their respective areas to monitor its impact to the household and community.
This activity is also in celebration of the Nutrition Month 2022 with the theme โNew normal na nutrisyon, sama-samang gawan ng solusyon!โ
Gulayan sa Barangay is in consonance to the rice subsidy being granted to compliant beneficiaries of the program. 4ps-LSA is strengthening its advocacies in health and nutrition, organic farming, and green practices through its Family Development Session (FDS) as avenue to promote these causes and all other green programs of the National government.
