The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) supported the Resbakuna Kids or the massive vaccination drive for children aged 5-11 years old on February 14-17, 2022.
Based on the initial reports of the MSSD Sulu Provincial Office, 8,954 children from 11 municipalities each received 10 kilos of rice as incentive for getting the vaccine.
The vaccines provide children with the protection they need against COVID-19.
Over 8.7 million children have already been vaccinated worldwide, with zero deaths attributable to vaccines, 0.00013% serious adverse events, 2.4% with mild side effects all of whom have recovered, and 97.6% without any side effects.
Vaccination and practicing the minimum public health standards help in achieving maximum protection against COVID-19.
