A total of 778 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries, as of yesterday, 16 November 2021, who are nearing exit in the program received livelihood assistance grants worth PhP 15,000 each under the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) during the consecutive payouts in the 11 municipalities and 1 city of Basilan province.
The livelihood assistance provided will serve as their additional or start-up capital fund for their chosen microenterprise as part of their transition and sustainability plan.
Available microenterprises were vegetable, fruits, and crops production, poultry raising, food and fish vending, weaving and handicrafts making, and clothes retailing.
SLP is a nationally-funded program implemented by the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) across the Bangsamoro region which aims to improve the socio-economic wellbeing of individuals belonging to indigent, vulnerable, and marginalized sectors through capacity building and microenterprise development.
