Upi, Maguindanao – MSSD Minister Raissa H. Jajurie witnessed the cash card distribution for 864 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) members in Upi, Maguindanao on 2 February 2022 through the first Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) mobile branch in Mindanao.
The LANDBANK mobile branch, housed in a six-wheeler truck, functions as a pop-up branch to reach communities across the country with limited access to banking services.
The LANDBANK Mobile Branch can facilitate banking services, including cash subsidies distribution, under the programs of the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) and other government agencies.
Upi Mayor Ramon A. Piang, Sr., and Davee Christian Sasedor, LANDBANK Mobile Branch Service Officer were also present during the event.
4Ps in the BARMM is shifting from manual to electronic payments through the use of the LANDBANK EMV cash cards.
This is part of the Ministry’s initiative to pursue more efficient, safe, and secure cash assistance disbursement.
