PIKIT, SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA โ MSSD provided food packs and sleeping kits to 232 flood-affected residents and internally displaced persons (IDPs) here on 17 August 2022. They are currently staying at Macabual Elementary School.
The Ministry will continue to provide relief goods to other flood-affected barangays at SGA in the coming weeks. The residents are advised to wait for the final schedule of distribution in their respective areas.
Meanwhile, the flood-affected residents and IDPs will be continuously monitored in coordination with the barangay local government units (BLGUs).
