MAGUINDANAO – The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) conducted a series of financial literacy trainings and payouts to the beneficiaries of the Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program (UPBP) across Maguindanao on November 9โ14, 2023.
A total of 168 beneficiaries received PhP 20, 000 each as additional capital for their microenterprise projects during the payouts. Among these recipients, 98 were from Buluan, 52 were from Mangudadatu, and 18 were from Northern Kabuntalan.
Prior to the payouts, the said recipients underwent financial literacy training to provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills that they can use in managing their income and improving their small businesses.
Personnel under the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP): BARMM extended technical assistance and facilitated the series of trainings.
This year, MSSD targets to capacitate and provide additional livelihood capital as scale-up funds to 2,227 beneficiaries in Maguindanao.
