One hundred fifty pregnant women and lactating mothers who belong to vulnerable sectors received maternity and hygiene kits from the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) through its BARMM Special Geographic Area Provincial Office during the medical outreach program for women and girls spearheaded by the office on March 24, 2022 in Brgy. Buluan, Kabacan.
In the implementation of said social intervention, MSSD collaborated with Dr. R.A.M Albutra General Hospital and Deseret SurgiMed Hospital that are among the thirteen (13) existing partner medical institutions of the ministry across the Bangsamoro region.
Aside from free medical check-up, the said partner hospitals also free free medicines to the women clients.
This activity is under the Womenโs Welfare Program (WWP) of MSSD.
