LANAO DEL SUR — A total of 141 para-social workers in Marawi City received their 9,000-peso stipend on 02 June 2022.
These para-social workers, from 11 municipalities of Lanao del Sur A, serve as a support to MSSD’s municipal social welfare officers (MSWOs) in the delivery of disaster risk reduction and protection services.
MSSD has deployed a total of 1,145 volunteer para-social workers across the Bangsamoro region to improve the delivery of social services especially in the poor and disadvantaged communities.
Their monthly stipend is a recognition and gratitude for their volunteerism and invaluable help to the success of MSSD’s programs and services in the Bangsamoro region.
