HADJI MOHAMMAD AJUL, BASILAN โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) concluded its celebration of National Children’s Month here on 26 November 2022 after a series of outreach programs and activities in other BARMM provinces.
Through this outreach program, a total of 100 Yakan, Tausug, and Sama Banguingui children received their birth certificate, courtesy of Children and Youth Welfare Program’s Free Birth Registration project. The Ministry also provided them with school supplies, hygiene kits, and shirts.
The children also participated in parlor games led by Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).
Present during the program were PSWDO representative Rasheed Alki, MSWO Arshima T. Sawalun, Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR) Jahra Nasser, MPDC and LGU staff.
Meanwhile, MSSD, through its Children and Youth Welfare Program (CYWP), has distributed a total of 300 birth certificates to indigent children in BaSulTa (Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi) during the course of its outreach programs in observance of National Children’s Month Celebration this year.
