BARMM SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA (SGA) – The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), through its Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program, conducted a series of distributions of monetized rice subsidies to 161 indigent household beneficiaries. The distribution took place at the municipal field office of MSSD in Brgy. Batulawan, Pikit Cluster, BARMM SGA from December 19 to 20, 2023.

Each household received Php 7,200, covering their monthly subsidies for six (6) months.

The Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program is a holistic social protection program that aims to improve the well-being of poor and vulnerable households in the Bangsamoro region. This program offers beneficiaries a range of interventions, including access to business capital, specialized skills training, rice subsidies, educational support, medical assistance, and other essential forms of aid to foster sustainable growth and self-reliance for their families.
