SULU — With the onslaught of Typhoon Paeng in the province, the uprooted coconut trees in Indanan and Kalingalan Caluang destroyed houses of some of the residents.
On 30 October 2022, an affected resident in municipality of Kalingalang Caluang received welfare goods and food packs as initial intervention.
On 31 October, a relief operation was also conducted in barangays Timbangan and Bunut of Indanan. This is to help the four (4) families, whose houses were also damaged.
MSSD continues to coordinate with the LGUs of this province to assess the damage brought by Typhoon Paeng and provide assistance to other affected residents.
