COTABATO CITY โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), in collaboration with the Office of the Social Welfare and Development (OSWD) of this city, has commenced the house-to-house distribution of Hadiya care packages for Bangsamoro senior citizens. The distribution began on May 17, 2023, and is expected to reach all 95 indigent senior citizens across the 12 barangays of the city by May 22, 2023.
The Hadiya care package is designed to provide essential goods and gadgets to support the health and well-being of the elderly beneficiaries.
Each Hadiya (gift) contains a digital blood pressure monitor, finger pulse oximeter, temperature scanner, pillbox, two boxes of disposable face masks, liniment oil, rubbing alcohol, two packs of adult diapers, a hot and cold compress device, talcum powder, mentholated rub, a wooden back scratcher, two packs of powdered milk, a set of socks, a towel, burn ointment, povidone-iodine, gauze bandage, surgical tape, cotton balls, band-aids, and tissue rolls.
