Carmen, Special Geographic Area — A total of 15 pregnant women from the seven (7) barangays here received maternity kits on 04 July 2022.
The distribution of the maternity kits was done during the commencement of the lecture on “Caring for Mother and Child” and “Child Development”, which was conducted by MSSD.
The lecture sessions aim to strengthen and supplement the knowledge of pregnant women in self-care, child-care, and post-maternity care. This also ensures that the mothers can practice proper child rearing from their baby’s infancy to adolescence.
