TURTLE ISLANDS, TAWI-TAWI — The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) conducted a two-day payout in this municipality for the beneficiaries of Kalinga para sa may Kapansanan Program.
A total of 62 indigent persons with disability (PWDs) from barangays Taganak Poblacion and Likud Bakkao received cash assistance on June 14–15, 2023.
Under this regular program of the Ministry, each qualified PWD is entitled to a P500 monthly allowance. This assistance is intended for their basic necessities, such as food and medicine.
